Lost My Knitting Mojo.

.
Let’s not talk about how I’ve been away, dear reader (readers?). I’ve still been clicking away on the knitting needles, but I must confess, I hit a major knitting rut for a while there.
.
You’ve been there right? Looking at page after page on Ravelry, admiring the work by other knitters, adding patterns to your queue, but never able to decide on your next project.
.
Nah, not another hat. Gloves? Meh. A sweater for the boy? Eh.
.
The thought of not knitting ever again made me shudder. I needed to figure out how to get my mojo back. I decided to try my hand at something else and fired up the spinning wheel.
.
.
Look at the yarn? Isn’t it pretty? I thought so too, but I found myself back at square one, unable to decide on a pattern. So I decided the yarn was too pretty to knit with and admired it instead. Then I did what I usually do when I fall out of love with knitting – I picked up a crochet hook of course!
.
 .
I have no hate for crochet. When folks ask my opinion on whether knitting is better or easier than crochet (or vice versa) I always reply with, “it’s really up to the person,” but for some reason, crochet always reminds me why I love knitting so much! I’ve known this for a while, but seem to always forget this when I need it.
.
So I’m back to knitting! And I have multiple projects going too! I’m midway through Hitchhiker using the handspun mentioned above and guess what? I’M MAKING SOCKS! What??!?!!? I may have to go back and edit my “about me” page.
